Giving Closet
The Giving Closet provides free children's clothes for families in need with children ages birth to 5 years old.

| When: | Mondays, 9:30AM - 11:10AM Thursdays, 4:30PM - 6:10PM (2nd Thursday of each month only) Closed for federal holidays. Families may attend four times during the program year (July 1 thru June 30th). |

All visitors to the Giving Closet need to show photo ID and proof of residency within Durham County, by showing a current address with the same name as the photo ID from any of the following documents: bill, WIC voucher, driver’s license or identification card.
Giving Closet Donation Guidelines:
THANK YOU to all who donated clothing in response to our recent call for winter clothing. We are fully stocked once again!
Just as a reminder—due to recalls, we are no longer taking full-size cribs, and we do not accept preteen, teen or adult clothing, toys, household items and stuffed animals, or car seats.
In order to process and store your donations with care, staff needs to limit the days we can accept donations to TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS and THURSDAYS, 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
We will accept donations other days and times if you call our office, 560-7150.
